Who we are

We handle personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

Newsletter sign-up: when you enter your email address in the newsletter form, we receive it by email so that we can send you our news and updates. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by asking us to remove you.

Messages you send us: if you contact us by WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, phone or email, we use what you send only to answer you and to arrange your treatment. Those services are run by their own providers (WhatsApp and Meta for WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram), whose privacy policies also apply.

We do not ask for, and this website does not collect, payment details or health information. Gift vouchers are bought on SumUp's own website, under SumUp's privacy policy.

How the newsletter form works

The form sends your email address to us through Resend, an email delivery service. A copy of each sign-up is also kept in a private spreadsheet that we use as a backup record.

To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not an automated program, is sending it, and a hidden field that automated programs tend to fill in. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device for this check.

Content from other services

Some parts of the website show content provided by other services. They load only when you scroll near them or choose to open them, and those providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies:

• our Instagram feed and our Google reviews, shown through Fouita widgets;
• the map on our contact page, provided by Google Maps, which loads only when you choose to show it;
• the button that lets you add us as a preferred source on Google, provided by Google.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. It loads only on our own website address, once you tap, scroll or press a key or a few seconds after the page opens. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes technical information about your browser and device under Google’s privacy policy; we do not use it to identify you, and we do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. A cookie-free page-view counter run by RankShark also records the page address, the referring page or site and any campaign tag in the link; it sets no cookies, and your IP address is used only momentarily to block abuse and is never stored.

Hosting and security

The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and protects the site from attacks. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address to do this.

How long we keep your information

We keep your newsletter email address until you ask us to remove it. We keep messages and enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and to provide your treatment, and then delete them unless we must keep them by law.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent at any time. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We will update this policy when the way this website handles personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
